Family Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in South Carolina’s coastal Lowcountry. We are a community‑owned, private, not‑for‑profit business committed to improving health outcomes and quality of life for residents in and around the County. We have 3 clinic locations serving the residents of the County.

Center is hiring an additional primary care physician to help serve the County’s underserved/under‑insured population. We are currently moving into a larger office in the city and will be able to accommodate an even larger volume of patients. Our new site is less than one mile from the Hospital.

Current providers include 2 family physicians, 1 med/peds physician, 2 full‑time nurse practitioners, and one part‑time nurse practitioner.

Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

• Chronic Disease Management

This is an excellent opportunity to care for an underserved population while living in a highly desirable coastal location. The local hospital system is providing an income guarantee along with a sign‑on bonus and other incentives to join. Center has an HPSA score that would qualify applicants for federal loan repayment and scholarships.
